New version 0.8.4 released to add a new Notification in your favourite droid

There's a new version with the addition of a notification in the Notification bar showing the currently playing song (also for free version!).

 New features
  • Added notification to display currently playing song.

Solved issues:
  • Minor bug fixing and some improvements

Have you already updated the component files with the new installer??

    Is it possible to disable the notifications? Also, I would love the ability to control the volume in the home screen widget. Thanks!

      Hi BD,
      It's not possible yet but it will be in the next version when the notification will also be improved with some more additions.

      Also, for next versions is shceduled to create more widget designs and one of them includes volume control.

    Hi Sergi, I seem to have lost the ability to rate songs and no art displayed in portrait , and in landscape its tiny dont know if this started with 0.84 running latest 0.8.4.a. I have loaded a MIUI ROM onto my Vodafone 845 but everything else seems normal.

      I'm sorry but there's something wrong with that MIUI ROM. It's not the first time I've heard of that problem, but with older versions too..

      Yes , I had loaded an earlier backup version 0.8.1 aand it was the same , am now looking for a new MIUI.. Cheers Ken

    Have the components changed? I have not updated, I am also not having any problems with components from the old zip version. Any improvements in the new comps?

    First of all: Great app! Keep on going with the nice updates!

    Could you make the volume button to only change the volume of
    the foobarcontroller and not the volume of the device itself also?

      Well, that's new.. Nobody had asked that before..
      You can't achieve it in android but you can modify the config file in the PC.
      Open the "config" file from "%APPDATA%\foo_httpcontrol_data\foobar2000controller\"
      and search for:
      "albumart="
      Instead of "$directory_path(%path%)\Cover.jpg|$di......"
      Set "foobar2000controller/img/nocover.png"

      That should do it..

    Could anyone help me?
    The app can't find my pc, and when i enter the ip manually it says it can't connect.

    I don't have a foobar2000controller folder in my foobar appdata, when i tried to visit ip:8888/foobar2000controller/ it said i have no templates, i installed some, and it works, i can visit ip:8888 from my android, pick a template and control foobar.
    But they are really painful to use, i'd prefer the app.

    So what's wrong?
    I can connect to it, so no firewall problem, right?

    What can i do?

    i can enter to my pc with the android browser, but this app cant find my pc!?

    Hi,
    have you tried to add the server manually?
    if you can access your pc from the browser, you should have no problem connecting to it from the app.
